Zorlu Psm - Rube Goldberg Machine

Zorlu Psm

Designed and produced by Bâb-ı Zen, the Rube Goldberg machine created for Zorlu PSM’s holiday village kiosk pays tribute to the venue’s rich blend of performing and visual arts. Visitors drop a ball into its starting point and follow its journey around the kiosk, unlocking a sequence of theatrical gestures. The ball’s first motion activates the gears of "Wicked", triggering the stage curtains to open and reveal the iconic mask and rose from "Phantom of the Opera". It then ascends via elevator, drops onto a clapperboard to cue a violin performance, and continues toward "Movies In Concert", weaving through miniature busts in a gallery-like setup. As it completes this path, the busts light up.

On the final facade, the ball passes by symbols of "Mix Festival" and a microphone in Hugh Jackman’s signature pose. After rising once more, it strikes musical notes and descends the staircase of "West Side Story", landing on a table to lift a serving tray lid, offering visitors a chocolate treat to complete the experience.
